Purposes
We process data to: answer messages (contact form), fulfil an order or quote (identity, Forest pickup or delivery address, email, phone), hold a piece for cash payment in store (same data, no payment processor), send the newsletter if you subscribed, notify you of a similar piece (same category and era) if you asked on a sold or reserved listing, and — if you accept statistics — measure site traffic.
Cookies
bdm_cart — cart (essential).
bdm_consent — your cookie choice (essential).
Analytics (/api/analytics/hit) — only if you accept statistics in the banner.
bdm_aid — visitor id for analytics / newsletter (outside banner v1).
Processors
Email: Resend. Online payments: Stripe and/or PayPal. In-store cash: no payment processor. Hosting: private server. Contact map: Google Maps iframe, loaded when the page opens, without extra cookie consent — Google may set its own trackers. 2ememain listings: only if an ad is published from the admin (Pro account).
Retention and rights
Order data is kept for the commercial relationship and accounting duties. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Similar-piece alert: 18 months, or until you unsubscribe / the request is closed.
